Britain Must Not Hand China Power Over Our Food Supply

The United Kingdom produces 60 percent of the food it eats, down from 65 percent in a single year. While Beijing marshals the full weight of the state to dominate global protein supply chains, British farmers from Cumbria to County Antrim are warning they cannot hold the line. The Great British PAC says food sovereignty is being surrendered, farm by farm, and it will be felt at every dinner table in the country.

Pressure Mounts on Burnham to Call an Election... But Would He Dare?

Andy Burnham became Prime Minister without a single vote cast for him in that role. Now polling shows a majority of voters believe he should seek his own mandate, insiders are urging him to go to the country, and the ghost of Gordon Brown's "election that never was" looms large. But with the Right still divided, calling an election would be an enormous gamble.

Beyond the Smear: What Britain's Demographic Data Actually Shows, and Why the Debate Has Gone Wrong

Britain's immigration debate has collapsed into a shouting match between two falsehoods, the conspiracy theorists who blame a hidden Jewish hand, and an establishment that brands all concern as extremism. Yet the official record tells its own story. Census data from the ONS shows White Britons down from 87.5 per cent in 2001 to 74.4 per cent in 2021, London's White British population at 36.8 per cent, and net migration peaking at 906,000 in a single year. This analysis separates documented fact from antisemitic poison, examines the moral distinction between opposing people and questioning policy, and asks why the establishment polices conservative vocabulary while record antisemitic incidents from other constituencies receive a fraction of the scrutiny.

£400m Super Prison Sits Half Empty While Killers Walk Free

A £400 million flagship jail near York is running with almost 350 cells empty because it cannot recruit enough prison officers, at the very moment the government is preparing to free 470 convicted manslaughter offenders, including two of Pc Andrew Harper's killers, under its controversial early release scheme. As police chiefs, campaigners and former governors demand action, the empty beds at HMP Millsike have become the most damning symbol of a prison system that has space it cannot use and prisoners it chooses to release.

The Night British Democracy Wore a Bin on Its Head

On a sweltering August night in Essex, Nigel Farage won back the parliamentary seat he had vacated only six weeks earlier, defeating a field of thirty-three fringe candidates in which the runner-up was a comedian wearing a bin on his head. The result was a personal triumph for Farage, and a quiet, unsettling verdict on the seriousness of British democracy.

Britain's £80 Billion Pylon Gamble

By the time the last steel giant is bolted into place, more than 160,000 British households will wake to a horizon reshaped by Westminster's net zero ambitions. Ministers have offered £250 a year in compensation, yet research suggests homes within 250 metres of a pylon can lose up to 21 per cent of their value. The maths, and the morality, do not add up.

Great British PAC Investigates: Rotherham's Rotten Badge, and the Testimony Britain Was Never Meant to Hear

A fourth former South Yorkshire Police officer has been arrested on suspicion of non-recent child sexual exploitation in Rotherham, bringing to ten the number of victims who have come forward. In an interview with Great British PAC, survivor Sammy Woodhouse alleges that officers organised "holding cop nights", taking it in turns to rape trafficked children before handing them back to the gangs. The recently published Rape Gang Inquiry Report chaired by Rupert Lowe MP formally finds that serving officers were "active members of the rape gangs", and estimates at least 250,000 victims across 149 local authority districts. Great British PAC asks the question British institutions have refused to answer for thirty years: whom were the police actually protecting?

Burnham Fails First Test of Leadership

There comes a point in every premiership when the folksy gestures stop mattering, and the country watches instead what a leader does with power under pressure. Andy Burnham has reached that point on Pc Andrew Harper's case, and by any honest measure, he has failed the test. Here is what he must now do, and how the public can force his hand.

Burnham Must Confront the Homelessness Emergency, and the Country Is Watching How

The chief executive of St Mungo's has told Andy Burnham he must urgently respond to Britain's rough sleeping emergency, as a sprawling encampment on Euston Road, in Sir Keir Starmer's own constituency, exposes the gap between the Prime Minister's £340 million pledge and the reality on the streets. With rough sleeping at a record high and one in four rough sleepers now a foreign national, how Burnham handles this crisis will reveal what he truly believes government is for.

Starmer misled MPs over defence spending, UK statistics watchdog confirms

The UK's statistics watchdog has ruled that Sir Keir Starmer misled Parliament when he claimed the Government would spend "£270bn more on defence than we would otherwise have done". The figure was, in fact, the military's entire planned budget, not an increase. The real uplift is less than 10 per cent of what he told MPs, and the parliamentary record remains uncorrected.
